Meet the Band

History

  • Like a Stone was formed in 2017 by four co-workers to perform at a company holiday party in a bar basement.
  • Fast-forward to the fall of 2023, Like a Stone committed to becoming a top Alternative Rock cover band primarily servicing bars, social clubs, private parties, and festivals in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

Musical Style

  • We play mostly Alternative Rock from the 90s and 2000s, with the addition of 80s New Wave, 70s Punk, and a dash of Classic Rock.
  • Our constantly growing catalog has over 50 songs, and we perform new cover songs at every show.

Band Members

With roots in LaGrange, Western Springs, Elmhurst, Westmont, and Wicker Park, Like a Stone consists of 6 members to create depth of sound and offer a wide range of song selections.
